We know that we cannot do this alone. We embrace area agencise rather than compete with them so that we can afford the best opportunties and care for each person that we serve. reStart has proven longevity of more than 43 years as the leading agency in providing services to those experiencing homelessness, in Kansas City. When we are asked for assistance, we do what we can as expeditiously as possible so that the clients needs are met as seemlessly as possible. Likewise, we are so grateful for the resources that our community partners provide in return.

STEWARDSHIP

Our clients asked for quality, affordable, accessible healthcare. We listened. After many months of collaborating with a leader in the healthcare industry, our newest program, Transitions Care is in full motion. Understanding social determinants of health is critical to ensuring the best chance at a healthy life and sustainable housing. No other agency is affording this kind of programming. Building programs that are reflective of our clients needs and current socio-economic systems that have measurable outcomes ensures that we are being the best stewards of our partners investment and trust.

TRUST

Rather than asking those who are experiencing barriers to resources & housing, to "check boxes" we work to runderstand what each individual is needing or what the community is lacking. The PEOPLE that are needing help know better than anyone what is needed in their communities. Taking the time to listen and respond to those things first creates trust. At reStart, trust. is priority one. If we provide a service that our clients depend upon, in turn we depend on the monetary support needed to provide it. Keeping your word and delivering on promises is as critical in philanthropy and human services as it is in any business
